Dance your life

Every year, for the last few year, I attend online summit where teachers, doctors, mystics from all over the world share their knowledge and wisdom with the goal of helping people live more fulfilled, better lives.

(Officially, it is the “Shamanism Summit”, where a shaman means a guide or a person who heals, “travels” between worlds to gather information and be able to share it in order to improve people’s lives).

This year I have also attended to a lecture entitled “Dance your life”. The lecture was given by Banafsheh, founder of Dance of Oneness®; dancer, choreographer and dance teacher. https://banafsheh.org/

In the announcement of the lecture, she described the dance brilliantly:

Dancing gives us an infinite number of “gifts”. It invites us to take up space in the world with trust, conviction and “service” to ourselves and others. Dance is exciting, joyful, transformative, dance is togetherness. Dancing makes us whole and brings us into rhythm with others.

Although resilient, adaptable and flexible, dancing also breaks the rules. In dance, polarities unite and give birth to art.

The dance is universal. That is freedom. Dance invites us to ground the soul in our bodies in the most precious and sublime way.

During the wonderful lecture, she reminded us of Rumi’s wisdom:

Dance, when you’re broken open.

Dance, if you’ve torn the bandage off.

Dance in the middle of fighting.

Dance in your blood.

Dance, when you’re perfectly free.

Struck,

the dancers hear the tambourine inside them,

as a wave turns the foam on its very top, begin.

Maybe you don’t hear that tambourine,

all the tree leaves clapping time.

Close the ears on your head

that listen mostly to lies

and cynical jokes.

There are other things to hear and see

dance, music and a brilliant city inside the soul.

Finally, this information. One part of the Summit is free and during four days in our evening time zone 😊 you can listen to 3 to 5 excellent lectures. https://shamanismsummit.com/

Logocoaching – coaching by applying basic principles of logotherapy.

Coaching – Sir John Whitmore defines coaching as: “Unlocking person’s potential to maximize their own performance” (Source: Whitmore, J. (2002). Coaching for Performance, Third Edition: Growing People, Performance, and Purpose).

Coaching is not a therapy in any sense!

Logotherapy – Logotherapy provides answers to questions about the meaning of existence. As a psychotherapeutic approach, it brings into psychotherapy the knowledge that in addition to the physical and mental dimension, a person also has a third, spiritual dimension. In Logotherapy, the focus in on the future, on tasks and meaning.
